Update - This maintenance action has been pushed back one week to the evening of Tuesday, February 3rd, still at 11pm Central.
Jan 23, 11:33 PST
Scheduled - On Tuesday, January 27th, at 11pm Central, one of MarketSpark's carrier partners will perform failover testing on their calling services. The maintenance and testing window is expected to last 5 hours, into the morning hours of Wednesday, January 28th. During this event, interfaces will be deliberately disabled in order to verify continued, proper failover operations of call handling platforms. This action will pull one of the data centers out of rotation by deliberately disabling its network interfaces. It is not expected that customers' inbound or outbound calling will be negatively impacted during the maintenance and testing event. At the conclusion of the test, the disabled data center will be re-enabled, returning it to the rotation.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Jan 22, 17:00 PST
Scheduled - On Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 beginning at 7pm Central (8pm Eastern, 6pm Mountain, 5pm Pacific), MarketSpark’s engineering team will perform router maintenance on InHand IR305s, InHand IR305io, and Ericsson/Cradlepoint IBR650C router equipped locations. The maintenance involves a rolling update to router firmware and requires the router to restart. During the restart and application of the updated firmware, calling services for the affected locations will be offline for a period of 10 minutes or less. Once the restart and firmware application is complete, the routers and locations and calling services will return to normal behavior. MarketSpark’s engineering team will be online during the upgrade process as they initiate and monitor it to look for and resolve any anomalies.

This notice affects only MarketSpark customer locations with InHand IR305s, IR305io and Ericsson/Cradlepoint IBR650C router-equipped locations. Customer locations utilizing all other router types are unaffected.

If unsure of your equipment types and your affected Locations, Customers can check their equipment types within Command Center by visiting:

https://app.marketspark.com/locations

or by downloading, from Command Center, their Overview > Organization > Data > Organization Data and checking the EquipmentType column for "IBR650C," the affected Ericsson/Cradlepoint router, or for “IR305S” or “IR305IO,” the affected InHand routers.

Investigating - On Wednesday, January 21st, at 10:22am Central, one of MarketSpark's carrier partners reported and we have verified connectivity issues with their Dallas data center.

The result of this connectivity issue is erroneous location status reporting, false-offline state, from within MarketSpark's platform, including within the Command Center UI as well as from our email based notifications. This notice affects only a subset of MarketSpark's customers, almost exclusively customers with DataRemote branded equipment.

Customers using other equipment types are almost entirely unaffected. If unsure of your equipment types, Customers can check from within Command Center by visiting:

https://app.marketspark.com/locations

or by downloading, from Command Center, their Overview > Organization > Data > Organization Data and checking the EquipmentType column for DR9090 or DRI* equipment.

As MarketSpark receives updates from this carrier partner, and as we verify their performance, additional updates will be posted.
