Spurious Location Status Notifications

During a previously announced maintenance window (https://status.marketspark.com/incidents/gfnwy45ztm87), some MarketSpark locations experienced a brief interruption in service while their phone lines reconnected to our network. For a typical, affected line, the interruption lasted approximately thirty (30) seconds. MarketSpark's Location Status monitoring flagged these locations and sent Location Offline notifications, and showed locations as degraded for longer than the actual interruption.

Systemwide call logs show that call activity during the maintenance window was essentially the same as during the same period the previous night, with outbound call completion nearly unchanged, indicating that any impact on inbound and outbound calling during the maintenance action was minimal.
